In a significant leadership move, Anand Shenoy has been appointed the Global Vice President and Chief Data Officer at Mars Inc., the iconic 110-year-old family-owned conglomerate. With a lineage spanning more than 80 countries, Mars Inc.
is a global leader in pet care, confectionery, food, and other product lines, including iconic brands such as M&Ms, Snickers, and Pedigree. Trailblazing Data & Analytics Expertise Anand brings to Mars Inc. an impressive record in the data and analytics domain.
His recent stint was with Intel Corporation, where he served as the Senior Director and Global Head of Corporate Data Office for nearly three years. Under his leadership, the Corporate Data Office at Intel achieved significant impact, focusing on data strategy to execution and improving business outcomes.
Before Intel, he held leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies and leading consulting firms such as Deloitte Consulting and Ernst & Young, implementing transformative data and digital technology capabilities.
A Multi-Faceted Career Anand’s experience spans a wide array of industries, including high-tech, consumer products, pharma, and oil and gas. His top skills include Enterprise Data Strategy, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Stakeholder Management.
He holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
