Franklin Templeton has announced the appointment of Deep Ratna Srivastav as its Chief AI Officer, a role that underscores the firm’s commitment to leveraging artificial intelligence and digital innovation across its operations. Mr.
Srivastav, who previously served as Senior Vice President and Head of AI & Digital Transformation at the company, brings an unparalleled depth of expertise and leadership to this position.
In his new role, he will oversee the strategy and execution of Franklin Templeton’s AI and digital capabilities, ensuring alignment with the organization’s broader enterprise and client-focused transformation goals. Since joining Franklin Templeton in 2007, Mr.
Srivastav has held a variety of leadership roles that have shaped the firm's approach to data, analytics, and digital transformation. Notable positions include Global Head of Data & Analytics and Head of Business Strategy for North America.
His leadership has encompassed key areas such as client analytics, capital market research, data sciences, digital analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, and business strategy.
These experiences have equipped him with the domain expertise and strategic acumen to drive impactful innovation in financial services. In his previous role as Head of Digital Investment Solutions, Mr.
Srivastav spearheaded the development and deployment of Franklin Templeton’s investment solutions through digital channels. By leveraging financial technologies, advanced data science, and strategic investments, he successfully brought personalized investment solutions to market.
This work garnered significant industry recognition, including the Barron's/MMI Industry Disruptor Award in 2021 and placement on the WealthTech 100 list in 2024.
