Kaseya has appointed Anthony Anzevino as Chief Revenue Officer and Pratik Wadher as Chief Technology Officer.
Anzevino comes from roles at Commvault, Veeam, AWS, VMware, and EMC. His remit includes aligning global sales and customer success, deepening client partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
Wadher has more than 25 years in enterprise software, platforms and financial technology. His previous roles include senior positions at Intuit, Applatix, Data Domain. As CTO he will lead the effort to unify Kaseya’s 40+ products into one AI-first platform intended to handle automation, security, and self-healing IT operations.
Rania Succar who has served as CEO since June 2025, framed the appointments around SMBs and MSPs (managed service providers). She said “Small and midsize businesses are modernizing their technology stacks at a once-in-a-generation pace, and MSPs are their critical partners. Kaseya has the opportunity to be at the centre of this transformation, harnessing AI to automate, strengthen security, protect data and simplify IT for our customers.”
Market Data and MSP Trends
Kaseya claims its platform serves nearly 50,000 MSPs and IT departments across over 170 countries. The company’s portfolio includes brands such as Datto, Unitrends, IT Glue, Spanning Cloud Apps, RapidFire Tools among others. The acquisition of Datto in June 2022 for US$6.2 billion expanded Kaseya’s offerings in backup, disaster recovery, remote monitoring and management.
In Kaseya’s 2024 MSP Benchmark Report, which surveyed roughly 1,000 MSPs globally, 73% of respondents said cybersecurity is a top revenue driver. Additionally, 78% of MSPs identified cybersecurity as a top IT challenge, up from 67% the previous year. The report shows 85% view automation as a must-have; 67% of IT executives believe integration among core MSP applications is very important.
Datto’s “State of the MSP Industry 2025 Look Ahead” report (which is part of Kaseya) shows that 64% of MSPs reported revenue increases in the past year; 67% expect further growth over the next three years. Also high-earning MSPs (those earning over US$10 million annually) lead adoption of cloud, automation, and security services more than smaller ones.
Technology Intent and Strategic Priorities
Wadher will oversee the development of Kaseya’s unified, AI-first platform. The intention is to bring over 40 individual tools under one system, delivering greater automation, stronger security and self-healing IT operations. He said, “With AI reshaping how small businesses and MSPs manage IT and security, Kaseya is uniquely positioned to lead this transformation with an AI-driven platform.”
Anzevino’s role involves aligning revenue functions with customer success, which includes renewing contracts, expanding account engagement, and strengthening partnerships. He said: “What initially got me excited about joining Kaseya is the company’s impressive and expansive customer and partner eco-system. I also got a glimpse of the hard-working culture that helps them win on a daily basis.”
Anzevino will also oversee efforts to expand customer engagement and strengthen the partner network. By combining customer success and sales into one structure, he is tasked with supporting growth across the company’s global MSP base, which includes over 50,000 managed service providers.
Kaseya 365 will integrate endpoint management, backup, SaaS protection, compliance, and ticketing tools into a single platform. This consolidation aims to simplify operations for small and midsize businesses, reducing manual effort and supporting more secure and resilient IT management.
Recent acquisitions, including Datto, have strengthened Kaseya’s capabilities in cloud backup, business continuity, and endpoint security. Bringing these technologies together under a unified platform allows IT teams and MSPs to manage multiple services from a single system while maintaining consistent standards for security and compliance.
