Prezent, a Los Altos–based startup developing AI tools for business presentations, raised $30 million in new funding. The round was led by Multiplier Capital, Greycroft, and Nomura Strategic Ventures, with participation from Emergent Ventures, WestWave Capital, and Alumni Ventures. The company has now raised over $74 million and is valued at $400 million.
Alongside the funding, Prezent acquired Prezentium, a presentation services firm in the life sciences sector founded by Deepti Juturu. Prezent’s founder, Rajat Mishra, previously helped establish Prezentium and served as its non-operating president. The two companies had an existing business relationship, with Prezentium acting as a go-to-market partner for Prezent.
“The acquisition allows us to unify our operations and strengthen our reach by combining long-standing client relationships with our AI tools,” Mishra said.
How Prezent Integrates Prezentium
Prezent offers an AI-based platform that helps enterprise users build and customize presentations efficiently. The software automates structured, data-backed slides for corporate teams, emphasizing consistency and clarity. Prezentium’s addition brings specialized experience in life sciences.
“There are plenty of tools that are trying to make presentations pretty,” Mishra said. “We want to provide the best tools for business communications. Presentation is one of the frontiers in business that is not automated yet. We want to help data scientists and designers communicate effectively with this automation.”
The company embeds presentation engineers in client teams. These specialists guide employees on using the AI platform and ensure outputs comply with corporate standards. This combination of automation and human guidance ensures accuracy and professionalism in presentations.
Prezentium’s services now complement the software, enabling Prezent to manage deck creation, editing, and review for regulated industries.
“The reality of AI in enterprise is that while AI can do many things, it can’t teach people [how] to use AI. That is why we want to place presentation engineers in companies to help our customers adopt the product faster,” Mishra said.
Standing Out in a Crowded AI Presentation Market
Prezent operates in a competitive field that includes Presentations.ai, Lica, Gamma, and Chronicle. Most rivals serve consumer or small business markets. Prezent focuses on large enterprises, emphasizing industries such as life sciences and technology where formal communication standards are essential.
The acquisition of Prezentium shows the trend of AI companies combining software development with service operations. By absorbing service providers, technology firms consolidate client relationships and deploy automation across established business processes.
The company’s operational setup includes presentation engineers embedded in client organizations. These professionals coordinate with internal teams to adapt the software for ongoing business communication needs.
Prezent’s combined structure now covers presentation design, communication training, and automation deployment. Its teams manage both the creation and refinement of business decks, maintaining accuracy while reducing turnaround time. This hybrid model separates Prezent from competitors focused solely on self-service tools.
The merger completes a consolidation that had already been underway through operational collaboration between the two companies. With unified management and a shared client base, Prezent’s expanded platform combines software precision with experienced design services.
Mishra described the acquisition as a practical step toward comprehensive business communication support. “Our goal is to make professional communication faster and more consistent,” he said. “By bringing our technology and Prezentium’s experience together, we can address both the creative and structural parts of enterprise presentations.”
