Salesforce announced Agentforce 360, the latest version of its AI agent platform, ahead of its annual Dreamforce conference starting October 14, 2025.
Salesforce’s Chief Product Officer David Schmaier said, “Agentforce 360 provides a single interface where businesses can build, test, and deploy AI agents.” Early adopters include Lennar, Adecco, and Pearson, which are testing the platform in internal operations.
The launch addresses enterprise needs for software that can automate workflows, manage tasks across departments, and support both employees and customers efficiently. Slack is a major component of the platform, with Salesforce planning to expand its integration through early 2026.
Slack will pilot a personalized AI Slackbot that adapts to user activity and provides suggestions. Salesforce also plans to offer connectors with Gmail, Outlook, and Dropbox to support enterprise search functions.
Key Features of Agentforce 360
Agentforce 360 introduces several tools for enterprise users. The Agent Script tool, releasing in beta in November, allows users to program AI agents to respond to complex “if/then” scenarios, ensuring consistent and predictable operations in customer service or internal workflows.
The platform incorporates reasoning models powered by Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google Gemini. These models process information before generating responses, enabling AI agents to handle more complex queries than standard pattern-based systems.
Agentforce Builder provides a central interface to build, test, and deploy agents. It includes enterprise-grade coding tools, such as Agentforce Vibes, to manage multiple agents simultaneously, orchestrate tasks across teams, and maintain interaction records for auditing and review purposes. The integration with Slack allows employees to interact with agents directly within messaging channels, improving task coordination and communication.
Pilot deployments indicate that these features streamline internal workflows, accelerate responses for customer inquiries, and reduce operational friction.
Enterprise Competition and Early Results
Agentforce 360 launches as enterprise AI adoption intensifies across the industry. Google introduced Gemini Enterprise, adopted by Figma, Klarna, and Virgin Voyages. Anthropic expanded Claude Enterprise, partnering with Deloitte to implement the chatbot for 500,000 employees and forming a collaboration with IBM.
Salesforce built Agentforce 360 on prior versions of Agentforce and its reasoning engine framework. The platform currently serves 12,000 customers, a number higher than most competitors. Despite the growing use of enterprise AI, challenges remain.
Early pilot customers report improvements in task management, customer service handling, and internal communication. The integration of Agent Script, Builder, and reasoning models into Slack and Salesforce applications provides enterprises with a unified environment to manage AI agents across multiple workflows.
Salesforce has started rolling out Agentforce 360 to enterprise customers. The platform combines cloud applications, messaging tools, and AI agent functionality in a single interface. Pilot results suggest that enterprises can achieve smoother operations and more consistent responses from AI agents without disrupting existing processes.
Agentforce 360 is now available to Salesforce customers, fully integrated with Sales, IT, HR, and Slack tools, providing a centralized environment for AI-driven task management.
