Abcam has expanded its collaboration with Genedata to strengthen its use of artificial intelligence (AI) in antibody development, with Genedata Biologics now deployed across the company's global research and development organization.
Genedata, a Danaher company that provides enterprise software for biopharmaceutical research and development, announced the expanded collaboration on September 4. The platform has been implemented at Abcam's headquarters in the UK and at key sites in China and the US, creating a shared data foundation for teams working across locations.

Genedata Platform Brings Antibody Data Into One System
Genedata Biologics provides a centralized environment for managing antibody development workflows, including sample histories, screening, characterization and production data.
The platform can connect information generated across different stages of biologics research. For B-cell-derived antibody development, for example, it can manage antibody clone histories alongside data from enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) experiments.
Genedata also positions the platform as an end-to-end data backbone for biotherapeutics discovery, covering activities from library design and screening through protein engineering, production and developability assessment.
