Zingage Raises $12.5 Million to Expand AI Home Care Platform

Across America, there are patients missing care because a provider didn’t have the bandwidth to answer the phone. We’re building the technology that enables providers to reach all patients where they want to be — at home.

Zingage, a New York-based company that automates scheduling and operations for home care agencies, announced $12.5 million in seed funding. The round included Bessemer Venture Partners, TQ Ventures, South Park Commons, WndrCo, and executives from Ramp.

Founded in 2023 by Victor Hunt and Daniel Tian, Zingage focuses on automating the back-office work of home care agencies. Hunt previously founded Astorian, a marketplace for contractors that was acquired. Tian, who worked at Ramp and TikTok, experienced difficulties securing home care for family members during COVID-19.

The founders met at South Park Commons, observed agency operations firsthand, assisted with scheduling shifts, and worked closely with staff to understand daily challenges. This experience informed the development of Zingage Operator, the company’s platform for managing scheduling, staffing, documentation, and billing.

The company operates in a market where healthcare is increasingly moving from hospitals into homes, a sector estimated at $500 billion. Many home care agencies still rely on phones, spreadsheets, and handwritten notes to manage operations, which can result in missed visits and added stress for staff.

Tackling a Patchwork Industry

Zingage works with over 400 agencies, coordinating 50,000 caregivers and facilitating more than 50 million care hours each year.

Victor Hunt said, “Across America, there are patients missing care because a provider didn’t have the bandwidth to answer the phone. We’re building the technology that enables providers to reach all patients where they want to be — at home.”

Daniel Tian noted in a LinkedIn post how Zingage’s approach to operational infrastructure is designed to make care delivery consistent and manageable for agencies while reducing administrative burdens.

How AI Handles the Day-to-Day

Zingage Operator automates daily home care operations. The system manages patient intake, staff scheduling, documentation, and billing. It uses labor and operational data to identify staffing gaps and adjust schedules in real time.

The platform integrates voice-based communication between caregivers and patients, ensuring visits are completed and documented. John Bennett, CEO of Sunny Days In-Home Care in Pennsylvania, said Operator allowed his team to handle twice the patient volume while reducing administrative work. He added that field managers could focus more on client care instead of managing schedules manually.

During its beta, Operator processed millions of care hours for partner agencies. Agencies reported efficiency gains and the ability to accept more patients without increasing staff, demonstrating measurable operational improvements.

Victor Hunt explained that Operator “manages the full cycle from intake to billing, filling shifts before they break and documenting every visit for payers,” emphasizing that the platform takes over tasks that previously required phone calls, spreadsheets, and late-night coordination.

Scaling Operations Without Extra Staff

The funding will support growth of Zingage’s engineering and operations teams and expansion of the platform to more home care agencies.

Zingage currently coordinates more than 10 million patient visits annually. Its technology provides agencies with tools to manage staffing, scheduling, and compliance efficiently. By replacing manual coordination with automated systems, Zingage ensures visits are completed, documentation is accurate, and agencies can operate smoothly.

The platform addresses a long-standing challenge in home care: managing real-time logistics while maintaining quality and consistency. Tools like Zingage Operator provide structured support for agencies handling large volumes of patients and caregivers.

With $12.5 million in new funding, Zingage is expanding its team and platform reach. The company continues to provide systems for scheduling, staffing, and compliance to support home care agencies and the patients they serve.
