Associated Bank Hires Andy Miner as Senior director, AI for Corporate & Commercial Banking

Associated Banc-Corp announced on June 30, 2026 that Andy Miner has joined the bank as Senior Director, AI for Corporate and Commercial Banking, a newly created role that makes him the single accountable executive for AI within the Commercial Banking line of business, reporting directly to Phillip Trier, EVP and Head of Corporate and Commercial Banking.

Miner is responsible for AI strategy, use cases, delivery, adoption, and risk and data stewardship within Commercial, covering the full lifecycle from identifying where AI applies to ensuring it is deployed responsibly and measured against business outcomes.

The first applications will be internal rather than customer-facing: portfolio management, treasury, and payments workflows, where automation of routine data work is expected to free bankers to spend more time on client relationships and commercial solutions, according to the press release.
