DataStax Expands Enterprise AI Capabilities with the Release of a New Hyper-Converged Data Platform

Leading provider of Generative AI data, DataStax, has announced that DataStax Enterprise (DSE) 6.9 will soon be available together with the next release of DataStax HCDP (Hyper-Converged Data Platform). These products are well-positioned to enable businesses to successfully include vector search and generative AI into their enterprise data workloads that are self-managed.

DataStax HCDP is the self-managed data system of the future, built for Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and new data centres. It offers strong support for on-premises business data systems ready for AI integration and accommodates a range of data workloads and AI systems. HCDP, which is best suited for corporate operators and architects, uses investments in data centre modernization to save operating costs and simplify operational overhead.

Integrating OpenSearch with Apache Pulsar to enable Generative AI RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Knowledge Retrieval is one of the fundamental components of HCDP. Users may access data with unmatched flexibility by combining the vector search capabilities of DataStax's cloud-native, NoSQL Hyper-Converged Database with OpenSearch's Enterprise Search capabilities.
