Globant Launched an AI Services Platform With Output-Based Pricing

"AI is not just making the same projects faster, it is making thousands of projects viable that never were before."
Globant announced Glob.AI on August 6, a technology services platform built around an outcome-based pricing model. The mechanism is an AI Pod, a service unit run by a set of AI agents, supervised by human experts, and specialized by task and industry.
Each Pod runs through parallel agents, deterministic processes, and structured workflows with human oversight at every step. The client pays per output or per consumption.
They do not pay for seat licenses, hourly engagement rates, AI hallucinations, retries, or idle processing cycles. If the system produces nothing useful, the client pays nothing for that cycle, according to the press release.
"Until today, enterprises could not buy technology services this way: instantly, transparently, paying only for results," said Guibert Englebienne, co-founder of Globant. "That is the shift Glob.AI delivers, and the strong demand for AI Pods shows enterprises are ready for it."
Traditional enterprise technology services follow a predictable procurement sequence. A company identifies a need, issues an RFP, evaluates vendors across months, negotiates a contract, and then the work begins on a fixed timeline, billed by the hour, with delivery visibility that depends on the vendor's reporting cadence.
Glob.AI eliminates that sequence entirely, according to the company. Users log in and deploy. Delivery is continuous, live, and visible to the client in real time rather than reported at milestones.
Globant claims AI Pods are at least 30% more productive than a typical engineer-plus-AI approach, a figure it did not break down methodologically in the announcement. The claim is self-reported and should be treated as such.
The client evidence it cited is more specific. An unnamed commercial bank completed a COBOL migration in two months against a projected 14-month timeline using traditional methods.
PharmaMar achieved 15x faster insights in oncology research. YPF reduced contract timelines by up to 40%. FIFA saw a 20% efficiency increase in throughput generation. LALIGA deployed AI across key functions in three months.
"AI is not just making the same projects faster, it is making thousands of projects viable that never were before," said Martín Migoya, CEO and co-founder of Globant.
Glob.AI is available through a waiting list for early access. Client data is stored in a proprietary Token Vault and never used to train external AI models.
