Rohit Choudhary

Rohit Choudhary is the Founder and CEO of Acceldata, the San Francisco Bay Area–headquartered data observability company he started in July 2018. Acceldata is now positioning itself around agentic data management — autonomous observability, quality, and governance for enterprise-scale AI — enabling data systems to self-diagnose, self-optimise, and self-govern across clouds, pipelines, and platforms. Backed by Insight Partners, March Capital, and Sanabil, the company is one of the most credible bets on the data layer underneath enterprise agentic AI.

Before founding Acceldata, Rohit was Director of Engineering at Hortonworks (now part of Cloudera) for three years, where he conceptualised and led Dataplane Services, the next-generation big-data management platform for hybrid data lakes. Prior to that, he led engineering at [24]7 iLabs after the company acquired his earlier startup Appsterix, which he founded in 2012. He was an early engineer at InMobi, joining when the company was at $1M annual revenue and helping scale it through Series C to $100M. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science from SJCE and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Rohit earns his place on the AIM Next 15 AI CEOs in America 2026 for building the foundational data-trust layer that enterprise agentic AI cannot operate without. As AI agents move from pilots to autonomous production decisions, the question of whether the data they consume is observable, governed, and reliable becomes existential — and Acceldata is one of the few independent companies in the US solving that problem at the scale enterprise AI now demands.
