Aifleet, a tech-driven innovator in the trucking industry, has secured a substantial $50 million in funding, including a recent $16.6 million in Series B funding. This round was led by Tom Williams of Heron Rock and saw participation from notable investors such as Volvo Group Venture Capital, Obvious Ventures, Ibex Investors, Compound, Winthrop Square, and Cooley. The investment positions Aifleet to address long standing inefficiencies in the $800 billion U.S. trucking industry while enhancing driver satisfaction and environmental sustainability.

Founded in 2020 by Marc El Khoury and Mark Farkas, Aifleet is harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to tackle one of the trucking industry's most pressing issues: low driver utilization. Since 2018, driver utilization has been on a downward trend, but Aifleet’s AI-driven technology is poised to reverse this trend by maximizing the time drivers spend on the road. Their advanced algorithms optimize route planning and load management, handling an impressive 20 quintillion permutations per truck per week and overseeing 250,000 loads and $20 billion in orders annually.

Marc El Khoury, Aifleet’s CEO and Co-founder, emphasizes the dual focus of their mission: "Our technology is designed to boost operational efficiency and revenue while also enhancing the driver experience. We offer full-time employment with benefits, guaranteed pay, and predictable schedules, aiming for five-day workweeks. This approach is a game-changer in an industry known for extended periods away from home."

Aifleet’s focus on driver satisfaction is a standout feature. By providing competitive pay, more predictable schedules, and improved work-life balance, the company addresses critical concerns that contribute to high driver turnover. Their commitment to better working conditions is evident in their comprehensive benefits package and the effort to ensure drivers have a more manageable and rewarding work experience.
