Cisco, a global leader in technology solutions, has announced the launch of Motific, its first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product aimed at facilitating trustworthy and compliant generative AI (GenAI) deployments within organizations.

Empowering Organizations with Trustworthy GenAI Deployments

Born from Outshift, Cisco’s incubation business, Motific provides a centralized platform offering a comprehensive view of the entire GenAI journey. It empowers central IT and security teams to swiftly deliver trustworthy GenAI capabilities across their organizations while maintaining control over sensitive data, security measures, responsible AI practices, and costs.

Addressing the Urgency for AI Deployment

In response to the expanding landscape of AI adoption, where 97% of companies report an increased urgency to deploy AI-powered technologies, Cisco recognizes the challenges organizations face in ensuring the trustworthiness and compliance of the AI being utilized. Many struggle with tailoring GenAI applications to specific use cases and integrating them with custom data sources, a critical aspect for effective operation.

Accelerating AI Deployment with Minimal Investment

Motific aims to streamline the process of provisioning and managing GenAI assistants and APIs, as well as integrating models across different providers. It also addresses the challenge of hiring talent to oversee these processes. As a model and vendor-agnostic product, Motific supports the entire GenAI journey, from assessment and experimentation to production.
