Northrop Grumman, the global aerospace and defense technology company, announced a strategic collaboration with Camgian on July 7, 2026, to explore applying Camgian's Reactor artificial intelligence platform to the company's command and fire control systems.
The companies said they intend to use Camgian's AI platform to strengthen two Northrop Grumman technologies, the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) and the AiON counter-unmanned aerial system. According to the company, the goal is to add enhanced automation, threat optimization and operator decision support to both systems.
Northrop Grumman said the collaboration is central to its modernization efforts for IBCS. The company added that the partnership is intended to give warfighters tools for faster, more informed decisions while reducing cognitive overload during high-pressure operations.
