Radware's New AI Tool Protects Apps While Patches Are Still Being Tested

"The challenge is no longer simply finding vulnerabilities."

    Last updated

Radware announced AI Xploit Shield on June 16, 2026 to address a security problem that is a direct consequence of AI's own progress.

As frontier AI models accelerate the discovery of software vulnerabilities, the window between when a vulnerability is found and when it gets exploited is shrinking, and the traditional process of testing and deploying a patch was never built to move at that speed, according to the press release.

"The challenge is no longer simply finding vulnerabilities," said Gabi Malka, Chief Operating Officer at Radware. "It's protecting applications before those vulnerabilities can be exploited. Organizations cannot depend on patching alone. They need a way to quickly translate vulnerability intelligence into protection while remediation efforts are underway."

The press release named Anthropic's Mythos specifically as one of the frontier models accelerating vulnerability discovery, a direct acknowledgment that the same AI capability advancing cybersecurity research is simultaneously compressing the defensive timeline that security teams have historically relied on.
