Zscaler and NVIDIA Partner to Boost AI-Powered Cybersecurity

In a move to fortify its AI-powered cybersecurity capabilities, cloud security leader Zscaler has announced a collaboration with chipmaker NVIDIA. The partnership aims to harness NVIDIA's cutting-edge AI technologies to accelerate the development of generative AI-based security innovations within Zscaler's Zero Trust Exchange platform.

The integration will leverage NVIDIA's NIM inference microservices, NeMo Guardrails, and the Morpheus framework to bolster Zscaler's ability to process and analyze the staggering 400 billion daily transactions flowing through its global security cloud. This increased processing power is expected to significantly enhance Zscaler's copilot's proactive threat detection and simplify IT operations.

"The advancement of a cybersecurity vendor's AI is becoming the critical ingredient in its ability to maintain an advantage over adversaries," said Punit Minocha, EVP Business and Corporate Development at Zscaler. "Zscaler is committed to safeguarding AI with AI, and this collaboration with NVIDIA further builds on our leading position in the cybersecurity market."

At the core of the collaboration is the introduction of Zscaler's ZDX Copilot, a first-of-its-kind digital experience monitoring tool powered by NVIDIA's NeMo Guardrails. This AI-driven copilot will provide insights into network, device, and application performance, enabling streamlined IT support and operations at scale. NeMo Guardrails will orchestrate dialog management, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and security in smart applications built on large language models (LLMs).
