Gap Rolls Out Inspectorio AI Platform Across Global Supply Chain

Gap Inc. is rolling out an AI platform to track products and manage supplier data across its global sourcing and production operations.

Gap Inc. has partnered with Inspectorio to deploy an AI system across its global supply chain to improve product traceability and supplier visibility.

The platform is being implemented across the retailer’s brand portfolio, including Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta. It supports data collection and automates tasks across production workflows to track products across supplier networks.

Gap Inc. said the system is designed to improve visibility, quality management, and supplier collaboration across its operations. The company said it would use the platform to build end-to-end traceability across its global supplier base.

Chirag Patel, CEO of Inspectorio, said the deployment would help Gap Inc. “turn transparency into a competitive advantage” and improve decision-making across a complex supplier network.

Inspectorio said its platform connects and digitizes supply chain processes, providing visibility into production activities and supplier performance. The system also supports compliance and sustainability tracking across production workflows.

Gap Inc. operates a global sourcing model that relies on independent suppliers across multiple regions. The company has invested in shared supply chain and technology systems to manage operations across its brands.

The deployment extends Gap Inc.’s use of AI across its operations. The company has worked with Google Cloud to apply AI in product design, merchandising, and digital commerce workflows.

Gap Inc. has used AI tools to support product development and reduce time from design to production. It has also introduced AI-powered tools for customer-facing functions such as fit and sizing recommendations.

Other retailers use Inspectorio’s platform to manage supply chain operations. Companies including Mango and Target use the system for supplier visibility and production management.

In 2025, Urban Outfitters Inc deployed Inspectorio’s platform across its brands to manage compliance and reporting requirements tied to new environmental and sourcing regulations.
