Accenture and Google Cloud Launched a Dedicated Gemini Enterprise Business Group

"Deploying agentic AI is a top priority for enterprises today, and the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group significantly expands the expertise and resources available."
Accenture and Google Cloud launched a dedicated business group for Gemini Enterprise deployments on September 8, and the most commercially specific detail in the announcement was of YouTube.
During NFL Sunday Ticket surge demand, YouTube deployed a Gemini Enterprise agent with Accenture and Google Cloud. Customer sentiment improved 11%. Average handle time fell 37%, according to the press release. The result: customer sentiment up 11%, average handle time down 37%.
The business group itself is structured around scale. It draws on Accenture's existing base of nearly 50,000 Google Cloud-skilled professionals and adds a 1,000-person Forward Deployed Engineer workforce, engineers embedded directly with clients during implementation rather than operating from a distance.
The FDE model is designed to compress the gap between AI deployment and production outcomes that has driven the broader enterprise AI ROI problem documented throughout 2026, according to the press release.
"Deploying agentic AI is a top priority for enterprises today, and the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group significantly expands the expertise and resources available to help our customers deliver real business value," said Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud.
The business group operates across four priority areas, according to the press release. The first is adoption, deploying Gemini Enterprise faster through proprietary accelerators and implementation frameworks purpose-built for the platform.
The second is industry solutions, building repeatable, sector-specific AI deployments that reduce the time from implementation to measurable value. The third is capability centers, dedicated infrastructure designed to help enterprises move beyond AI experimentation into production-scale transformation.
The fourth is user adoption, ensuring that Gemini Enterprise capabilities are used at scale once deployed rather than remaining confined to pilot teams.
The group builds on Accenture and Google Cloud's existing Generative and Agentic AI Center of Excellence and the Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Program, two joint structures that predate the new business group and represent the implementation foundation on which it is built.
Accenture has been named Google Cloud's Global Services Partner of the Year for four consecutive years, giving the partnership a documented track record that the new group is designed to accelerate rather than establish from scratch.
"The Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group will help clients achieve these outcomes faster, bringing together the talent, advanced AI and data capabilities, and industry expertise needed to reinvent with confidence and create value at scale," said Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture.
