Interactive Brokers Adds ChatGPT and Grok to Its Agentic Trading Platform

On June 22, 2026, Interactive Brokers Group (IBKR) announced the addition of ChatGPT and Grok to its suite of agentic trading integrations, broadening an ecosystem that began with Claude. The Connecticut-based automated global broker said the integrations are available through certified artificial intelligence (AI) connector marketplaces across multiple leading platforms.

The company said clients can link an existing IBKR account to ChatGPT, Grok, or Claude in minutes using their IBKR login credentials at no extra cost. No new account is required, and no passwords or application programming interface (API) keys are shared with the AI provider.

Milan Galik, Chief Executive Officer of Interactive Brokers said, "We continue to see growing interest from investors in using artificial intelligence as a more natural way to interact with financial markets. Adding ChatGPT and Grok, together with support for options and futures, expands the ways clients can securely connect AI tools to Interactive Brokers for research, analysis and execution. We will continue to broaden the capabilities and asset classes available through these integrations over time."

Once connected, the company said clients can use natural language to explore their portfolio, analyze markets, and generate order instructions. Every instruction is reviewed and approved by the client in a dedicated AI Instructions tab before any order is submitted to the market.

The company said the integration supports a range of functions, including identifying options strategies to protect gains on existing positions, generating futures order instructions, computing technical indicators such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) across a client's holdings, and benchmarking portfolio performance against a broad market index.

As per the Company, the new integrations sit alongside a broader set of AI-powered tools already available within IBKR's platforms. These include AI Screeners, which allow clients to describe stocks using natural language and receive ranked results from more than 70,000 global stocks, Investment Themes, which surfaces companies and trends connected to a selected theme and Ask IBKR, which answers portfolio questions grounded in a client's own account data.

The company also said AI News Summaries delivers concise market news recaps filtered to the stocks and sectors in a client's portfolio and watch lists, with relevant articles flagged automatically.
