Data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) indicates that the Accommodation and Food Services sector is facing a labor shortage, with high quit rates and job fill rates below 70%.  Food companies are increasingly looking to offshore elements of their food supply chain to countries with greater labor availability in response to escalating labor shortages.
