"3D content generation is at an inflection point; it’s about to have its Software 2.0 moment." These words from Tolga Kart, CEO of Third Dimension AI, encapsulate the ambitious vision behind the company as it emerges from stealth mode. Today, Third Dimension AI proudly announces a $6.9 million Seed funding round, led by Felicis and supported by a roster of partners with deep expertise in technology, including Abstract Ventures, MVP Ventures, Soma Capital, and Solari Capital.

Founded by Kart, along with co-founders Soner Özgün Pelvan and Piotr Sokólski, Third Dimension AI is set to revolutionize the way 3D worlds are created. With over 18 years of experience in video games and autonomous vehicles, Kart understands the complexities and limitations of traditional 3D content creation. He reflects on his experiences managing large teams and massive budgets, noting, “I’ve seen firsthand how limiting the current technology is—only the largest, best-funded teams can create truly immersive worlds or simulation environments.”

The company was born out of the desire to democratize 3D content creation, enabling engineers and artists to generate incredibly detailed, high-fidelity worlds—both real and imagined—with just a single click. Picture recreating entire cities or designing fantastical universes in mere hours rather than months; this is the transformative potential of Third Dimension AI's platform.

With the recent funding, Third Dimension AI is poised to expand its already world-class team and push the boundaries of what’s possible with 3D generative AI. Kart emphasizes the significance of this investment: “This funding will allow us to further develop our platform and bring our vision to life, making high-quality 3D generation accessible to everyone.”
