Besty AI, a New York-based artificial intelligence-powered messaging service for vacation rentals and hotels, has successfully raised $1.5 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by Bungalow Capital and Ridge Ventures, marking a significant milestone for the company that launched in October 2023.
CEO Sam Dundas outlined the company's plans for the newly acquired funds, stating, "The funds will go towards enhancing its platform and doubling the size of the 10-strong team in the next few months." This expansion comes on the heels of impressive growth, with Besty AI maintaining a 34% month-over-month growth rate since its launch. The company now serves more than 15,000 properties across 25 countries.
Besty AI's platform leverages artificial intelligence to automate guest communications and upselling, offering property managers a tool to streamline operations, increase revenue, and enhance guest experiences. The technology has already garnered positive feedback from clients in the hospitality industry.
