TELUS International has introduced the beta release of Fuel iX, an enterprise-grade AI engine aimed at facilitating the transition of generative AI (GenAI) pilots into production scale. This innovative solution is designed to expedite the deployment of customized AI solutions, while ensuring responsible management and flexibility for enterprises. With access to a diverse range of large language models (LLMs) and the capability to switch models post-launch, Fuel iX offers organizations the freedom to avoid vendor lock-in and future-proof their GenAI applications.

Empowering Enterprises with Flexibility and Control

"Fuel iX was created to provide enterprises with generative AI flexibility, control, productivity, and trust," remarked Tobias Dengel, General Manager of Fuel iX and President of WillowTree, a TELUS International Company. "To date, we have over 30,000 users within TELUS, and these solutions have significantly increased employee productivity."

    Accelerating Productivity with AI

Enterprises leveraging Fuel iX can tap into a suite of generative AI management tools, enabling seamless integration with multiple cloud providers and LLMs. This approach empowers organizations to efficiently manage the rapid growth of AI-powered applications while ensuring compliance with privacy, data sovereignty, safety, and security requirements.

    Enhancing Visibility and Management

"The deployment of generative AI-powered applications was growing at such a pace that we needed full visibility and management across all the applications and use cases," explained Hesham Fahmy, Chief Information Officer, TELUS. "We couldn’t have met our requirements and graduated from pilot to production scale without Fuel iX."
