Flash Global Opens Dallas Service Supply Chain Center to Support AI Infrastructure Growth

Flash Global will open a new service supply chain Center of Excellence in Dallas on July 1 as the company expands capacity for distribution, returns management, and lifecycle services supporting technology customers.

The new facility is part of Flash's effort to support growing demand from hyperscalers, AI infrastructure providers, and other high-growth technology companies that require larger service networks and faster operational execution. The company announced the expansion on June 8.

The Dallas operation will complement Flash's existing facility in Columbus, Ohio. The company said it is transitioning operations from West Sacramento to Dallas to gain broader access to transportation networks, additional carrier options, and closer proximity to customers' service ecosystems.

Dallas Expansion Adds Capacity for Distribution and Returns Operations

The Dallas facility is designed to support service parts distribution and a range of post-sales supply chain functions. According to the company, the site will handle returns intake, testing, screening, secure data wiping, product dispositioning, and asset handling activities.

Depending on customer requirements, returned products may be routed for redeployment, repair partner evaluation, recycling, or other downstream processing activities.

"Customers today need operational partners that can support speed, flexibility, visibility, and execution consistency across increasingly dynamic environments. Our Dallas Center of Excellence positions us to continue expanding those capabilities while supporting the next phase of growth for Flash and the customers we serve," Mikles said.

The company said it will maintain uninterrupted operations during the transition and continue meeting existing service-level commitments.

AI Infrastructure Buildout Creates New Supply Chain Demands

Flash's announcement comes as companies supporting AI infrastructure continue expanding data center capacity and related technology deployments across North America.

AI data center growth is creating new operational requirements for logistics and service networks that must support equipment deployment, maintenance, replacement, and recovery activities across distributed environments.

The Dallas expansion also reflects how AI-related investment increasingly extends beyond software and computing hardware into the supporting infrastructure required to keep technology systems operating. Recent industry analysis has shown that AI spending is reaching a broader range of physical infrastructure and operational services as organizations scale deployments.

For service supply chain providers, that demand includes managing replacement parts inventories, processing returned equipment, handling secure data removal, and coordinating repair and redeployment workflows.

Flash said the Dallas facility represents another step in its investment in operational scale, service innovation, and infrastructure designed to support future service supply chain requirements. The company expects the Center of Excellence to begin operations on July 1.
