How Will AI Change Deal Document Creation?

The capability will be delivered later this year through a strategic partnership with, and minority investment in, Farsight, a platform focused on client-ready financial deliverables.

S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global, announced on July 23, 2026, a new AI-driven capability that will accelerate the creation of client-ready materials directly within its Capital IQ Pro platform. The company said the capability will be delivered later this year through a strategic partnership with, and minority investment in, Farsight, a platform focused on client-ready financial deliverables.

According to the company, the capability draws on a firm's previous deliverables and proprietary templates to generate tailored, client-ready documents, including pitch decks, confidential information memoranda (CIMs) and valuation materials.

"As AI transforms how intelligence is consumed and acted upon, our customers need trusted, connected, essential intelligence that brings context and conviction to decision-making," said Sally Moore, Chief Client Officer and Co-Head of Market Intelligence, Kensho Data & Platforms.

Moore said the capability reflects how the company is evolving Capital IQ Pro to deliver "differentiated, AI-native workflow experiences" to customers, and that investing in enablers like Farsight helps clients "move from insight to action with speed and confidence."

An Addition to Capital IQ Pro

S&P Global Market Intelligence said the new tool will be offered as an add-on to Capital IQ Pro, combining the AI-powered capability with trusted data already available on the platform. The company also said the launch supports the strategic priorities of the newly formed Kensho Data & Platforms, which brings together client interfaces, including Capital IQ Pro, to expand access to proprietary intelligence.

According to the company, the minority investment deepens its existing alliance with Farsight and reflects its broader commitment to AI-powered finance workflows building on its recently announced operating model, which pairs its data and domain expertise with more integrated AI-powered tools and workflows.

Samir Dutta, CEO of Farsight, said the industry has spent years competing on access to data, and that "the next frontier is helping firms turn that data into client-ready work that reflects how they think, advise and make decisions." Dutta said the partnership combines S&P Global Market Intelligence's data with Farsight's ability to embed a firm's judgment and standards into every deliverable.

Capital IQ Pro, operated within S&P Global's Market Intelligence division, offers financial data, proprietary research and analysis on global markets, companies and industries, according to the company.

The company said the partnership underscores its continued investment in AI-native tools designed to help bankers and investors work more efficiently as demand grows for faster, tailored deliverable creation across capital markets.
