GE HealthCare unveiled two new AI-enabled ultrasound product lines this week, expanding its imaging portfolio with systems designed to improve breast cancer screening, point-of-care imaging, and clinical operations across healthcare organizations.
The company introduced the Invenia Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) Prime and ABUS StreamVue for breast cancer screening, alongside the Logiq e family of portable ultrasound systems, comprising the Logiq e X and Logiq e S.
Together, the launches expand GE HealthCare's ultrasound portfolio across breast screening and point-of-care care, combining imaging hardware with software designed to support image acquisition, interpretation, and deployment across healthcare systems.
AI Expands Across Breast Cancer Screening
The Invenia ABUS Prime system is designed to work alongside mammography to support earlier detection of breast cancer in women with dense breast tissue. According to GE HealthCare, it incorporates AI-powered Scan Quality Assessment and Auto Nipple Detection to help produce consistent image acquisition, while the integrated QVCAD software assists radiologists in identifying breast lesions and reducing image interpretation time.
The company also introduced ABUS StreamVue, an enterprise image viewer that enables clinicians to review Automated Breast Ultrasound examinations remotely and standardizes exam reviews across healthcare systems. GE HealthCare said the software is designed to simplify deployment across enterprise imaging environments while supporting multi-site screening programs.

Separately, GE HealthCare launched the Logiq e X and Logiq e S, compact laptop-based ultrasound systems that combine portable hardware with imaging and workflow tools. The systems support applications ranging from emergency medicine and critical care to musculoskeletal imaging and anesthesiology.
Depending on configuration, the Logiq e X includes features such as Nerveblox, which labels anatomical landmarks during ultrasound scans, and MSK Go, which assists clinicians in identifying musculoskeletal structures. Other additions include Scan Assistant, Voice Control, B-Flow, Speckle Reduction Imaging-HD, Automated Function Imaging, and SonoBiometry.
The systems also integrate with GE HealthCare's Verisound digital platform, which provides cloud-based fleet management, remote system configuration, and collaboration capabilities for organizations operating multiple ultrasound devices.
In April, GE HealthCare combined its Imaging and Advanced Visualization Solutions businesses into Advanced Imaging Solutions, bringing together MRI, CT, ultrasound, women's health imaging, enterprise imaging, and AI-enabled software under a single organization. The latest launches expand that portfolio with new tools for breast cancer screening and portable ultrasound.
