Global digital workflow leader ServiceNow and EY (Ernst & Young) announce an expansion of their strategic partnership, focusing on generative AI (GenAI) compliance, governance, and risk management. The collaboration aims to address challenges in adopting transformative AI technologies.

EY Global Chairman and CEO, Carmine Dr Sibio, notes that the transformative potential of AI dominates the 2024 c-suite agenda. The partnership between EY and ServiceNow is set to assist organizations in implementing robust governance to turn AI risk management into business value.

Leveraging ServiceNow’s Now Assist GenAI Capabilities

EY will leverage ServiceNow’s Now Assist GenAI capabilities to enhance experiences for EY professionals and clients. The focus is on amplifying EY capabilities within ServiceNow’s risk management solutions. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of GenAI on the ServiceNow platform.

ServiceNow Chairman and CEO, Bill McDermott, expresses enthusiasm about the collaboration with EY to unleash the potential of GenAI. The partnership aims to drive efficiency, productivity, and growth for customers, enabling the rapid adoption of GenAI on the ServiceNow platform.

New Offerings for AI Governance and Compliance

The collaboration is set to introduce new AI solutions for the management and governance of AI, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. EY’s AI Governance and Compliance solution will include AI discovery, inventory management, policy implementation, risk tiering, and automated monitoring. These offerings are anticipated to be available in the first quarter of 2024.

ServiceNow Generative AI Across IT and HR Functions

EY will deploy ServiceNow generative AI capabilities across IT and HR business functions, including IT Service Management (ITSM) PRO+, HR Service Delivery (HRSD) PRO+, and Now Assist generative AI tools. This deployment aims to enhance employee experiences for over 400,000 EY professionals.

Building on a Longstanding Collaboration

This expanded alliance builds on the longstanding collaboration between ServiceNow and EY, with previous joint offerings in risk management, global business services, supply chain, manufacturing, and technology innovation. The organizations also plan to extend their focus into specific industries such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, and Life Sciences throughout 2024.
