AxisCare has introduced AxisCare Intelligence, a new suite of AI-powered tools designed to help home-care agencies manage operations more efficiently and improve client care. The platform integrates directly with AxisCare’s existing home-care management software, providing real-time data insights, workflow automation, and decision-support capabilities.
Todd Allen, CEO, and John Atkinson, CTO & COO, lead the company. Atkinson said, “AxisCare Intelligence was built to make home care operations easier, scalable, and more human by turning data into real-time insights that drive smarter decisions, stronger performance, and better outcomes.”
AxisCare serves agencies in all 50 U.S. states and four countries. The platform supports private-pay, Medicaid, and Veterans Affairs billing, allowing agencies to manage a range of client types and funding sources within a single system.
AxisCare Intelligence is designed to work with these existing operations, offering agencies tools for scheduling, staff management, and care documentation without major system changes.
AI Tools for Operational Efficiency
AxisCare Intelligence includes three main features intended to support agency operations. The first, Axi, is an AI chat assistant that allows staff to access schedules, visit summaries, and other operational information through natural language queries.
The system uses role-based access controls to maintain confidentiality while providing staff with timely operational data. Axi can assist with routine administrative queries, helping managers and caregivers locate information quickly.
The second feature, Automated Open-Visit Recommendations, identifies unassigned visits and suggests caregiver matches based on staff availability, skills, and client compatibility. This feature is intended to streamline scheduling and reduce the time managers spend manually matching caregivers to open visits. According to AxisCare, the tool provides a structured approach to filling open shifts while keeping track of staff workload and client needs.
The third component, Care Analytics, reviews Activities of Daily Living (ADL) notes and other client care documentation. The system categorizes client concerns, detects trends, and prioritizes follow-up actions. This gives managers visibility into client well-being and allows agencies to address issues consistently.
The analytics tool also provides reports on care patterns, offering agencies a consolidated view of operations that previously required manual review of records.
Agency Reach and Integration
AxisCare serves agencies across the United States and four other countries. Its software supports a variety of billing types, including private-pay, Medicaid, and VA programs, making it adaptable to agencies serving multiple client segments.
AxisCare Intelligence is built to integrate with the company’s existing platform, which includes scheduling, billing, and care management modules. This integration allows agencies to adopt the new tools without disrupting ongoing operations or requiring extensive staff retraining.
The platform centralizes operational data, providing managers with a single source of truth for scheduling, billing, and client care information. According to Atkinson, the suite is designed to provide real-time insights so managers can respond quickly to changes in staff availability or client needs. The system also allows agencies to track operational metrics, such as visit coverage, care trends, and administrative efficiency, within a single dashboard.
Platform Expansion
The launch of AxisCare Intelligence adds AI analytics and automation to AxisCare’s existing scheduling, billing, and care management software. Todd Allen said, “By simplifying operations and providing real-time insights, these tools help agencies work more efficiently and give caregivers the time and information they need to provide the highest-quality care while maintaining the human touch that defines this industry.”
AxisCare Intelligence is now available to all customers as part of the company’s platform. The suite provides agencies with operational support, workflow management, and real-time data access. By combining scheduling, billing, and care management functions with AI-powered tools, AxisCare offers agencies a centralized platform for managing daily operations
