Freed AI Is Giving Doctors Their Time Back

Freed transforms patient visits by listening in, transcribing conversations, and generating draft medical notes in real time
“I have notes to do.” That simple, familiar phrase was all it took for family physician Dr. Gabi Meckler to spark the idea behind Freed AI. Watching her battle late-night charting sessions, her husband, software engineer Erez Druk, saw firsthand the emotional and physical toll clinical documentation was taking, not just on her, but on clinicians everywhere.  Determined to create a solution that could save clinicians from burnout and help them stay in practice, the couple built Freed AI, an AI-powered assistant designed to automate note-taking and restore time and energy to medical professionals. A PNHP study indicates that physicians allocate 27.0% of their time to direct patient interaction and 49.2% to electronic health record (EHR) and administrative tasks. Freed transform
