S&P Global Brings Private Markets Intelligence Into Capital IQ Pro

S&P Global announced on July 29, 2026 the integration of With Intelligence's private markets data into S&P Capital IQ Pro. This move brings direct-from-allocator commitment data, fund manager performance records, and forward-looking editorial from The Deal into the same platform where users already conduct public markets research and analytics, according to the press release.

The integration follows S&P Global's 2025 acquisition of With Intelligence, which gave the company one of the industry's largest databases of alternative fund managers alongside direct-from-investor allocation data. 

The integration makes With Intelligence's private markets data available within Capital IQ Pro, eliminating the need for a separate platform and allowing users to access public and private markets data from the same interface.

"By connecting public and private markets in one place, we're delivering a more unified platform experience."

Four capabilities are already live. Investor positioning intelligence, direct-from-allocator commitment data covering investment allocations and capital commitments across private markets, gives users visibility into where investors are placing capital and how their relationships are evolving.

The platform also includes fund manager performance data, allowing users to benchmark managers and compare historical performance records. 

Comprehensive fund screening covers strategy, size, activity, terms, and performance across private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and real assets, available through Capital IQ Pro's existing screening tools so the private markets data is accessible through the same workflow users already know. 

Proprietary editorial from The Deal, With Intelligence's forward-looking M&A and private equity news service, adds deal sourcing and competitive monitoring capability to the platform.
