Aimbridge Hospitality Launches AI-Assisted LIFT For Hotel Labor Planning

Aimbridge Hospitality Launches AI-Assisted LIFT For Hotel Labor Planning

Aimbridge Hospitality has launched LIFT across its portfolio to connect labor forecasting, scheduling and execution using AI-assisted forecasting.

Aimbridge Hospitality has launched its proprietary Labor Insight & Forecasting Tool (LIFT) across its hotel portfolio, bringing labor data from multiple systems into a single view for property and finance leaders.

The Plano, Texas-based hotel management company announced the platform on 09/01. LIFT is designed to help hotel teams plan labor daily, weekly and monthly while using advanced data science and AI-assisted forecasting to provide a real-time view of staffing needs.

The launch comes as hospitality companies continue applying AI to operational and guest-facing functions. Hilton's AI integrations with Google, ChatGPT and Claude show how hotel companies are also connecting technology with customer-facing experiences.

LIFT Connects Forecasting, Scheduling And Execution

LIFT combines forecasting, scheduling and execution into one interface. Aimbridge said the system allows property and regional teams to identify gaps between labor and demand before staffing becomes materially misaligned.

The platform uses existing property-system data and updates automatically, which Aimbridge said reduces administrative work for hotel teams. The company also said the system is intended to help managers adjust staffing proactively while protecting hotel profitability and the guest experience.

Keryn McNamara, Chief Information Officer at Aimbridge Hospitality, said the company wanted to use data from its hotels to help teams act quickly and give owners greater visibility into how staffing decisions affect hotel performance.

The focus on labor planning follows similar AI applications in other service businesses. Cracker Barrel's deployment of AI for traffic forecasting and labor planning shows how companies are applying predictive tools to staffing decisions where labor costs can have a direct effect on operating performance.

Pilot Results Show Labor Productivity Gains

Aimbridge reported positive results from a recent LIFT pilot, with participating hotels recording measurable gains in labor productivity. The company said the largest improvements came in housekeeping and laundry, while scheduling accuracy also improved by bringing planned labor closer to actual labor.

Aimbridge said the pilot results did not involve a tradeoff in guest or team experience. Early results following the full rollout showed similar gains, according to the company.

Chris O'Donnell, President of Select Service at Aimbridge Hospitality, said labor decisions can be difficult to evaluate when their financial impact only becomes visible after financial reporting. He said LIFT allows leaders to view forecasting, scheduling and real-time execution together so they can identify staffing gaps as they occur.

Aimbridge plans to continue refining LIFT based on feedback from hotel operators. The company described the platform as its second proprietary technology launch of 2026, following S.P.A.R.K., which it introduced earlier this year.
